My translation carreer began four years ago and I have gained most of my skills through practice since my undergraduate and graduate education is focused on social science, specifically on psychology and education.
For four years now I have been translating mainly for a major brazilian software company, translating most of their internal documents such as training manuals, corporate presentations, software localization, E-learning projects, E-learning voiceovers. The principal language pair has been portuguese to spanish.
Nevertheless, I have also provided freelance translation for other companies in the US in the pair english-spanish. I volunteer on a regular basis for non-profit organizations translating articles for their web pages.
