Nuhu Bakari is a competent, professional and a qualified English-Swahili; translator/interpreter whose experience is closely encapsulated but not limited to translation on matters - Telecoms, ICT, localization, legal, human rights, peace
initiatives, advertising, agriculture, military, medical, transport,
localization, forensic,  industrial,
administration and finance.He has a
translation experience spanning over 12 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Kiswahili &
Communication and a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Translation, both, from the
University of Nairobi.  He has attended
more that forty (40) local and international conferences and seminars, latest being BP 2018 Translation Conference held in Vienna, Austria (19th-20th April 2018).

He uses Kiswahili, English and four (4) other local
languages as his business and communication tool. As a nimble and refined Kiswahili-English
translator for Global Languages Masters, he also freelances for a host of local
and international NGO’s, UN Agencies, Corporate institution, Banks, Schools and
agricultural institutions.

Beside translation, he is also
skilled in transcription, editing, proofreading and localization. He applies
both Human Translation and Machine Translation skills such as SDL Trados 2017
& MemoQ. 

As a
renowned Kiswahili author, he has unmatched knowledge in Kiswahili terminologies,
an excellent eye for details and very devoted and dedicated to his duties. He
has contributed immensely to the growth of Kiswahili terminology in Kenya and
East Africa region as a whole. He was amongst the team on Kiswahili experts who
translated our current and New Kenyan Constitution into Kiswahili and a main
contributor to three (3) major Kiswahili dictionaries.

He is a

adheres to the rule of the land/game.
