| Description | The Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology was completed and started training the first group of technicians in October 2001. The college was funded by the Hisham Hijjawi Institute and An-Najah National University as well as the Federal Government of Germany with the support of other Arab and foreign countries. The college aims at providing professional and technical education through programs that combine theory and application. It also aims at producing qualified graduates in the technical fields that meet the requirements of the job market, in an efficient, effective and sustainable manner. |

On Wednesday, June 1st and 5th, 2016, the Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology concluded two training workshops on legal translation and MCSA. The workshops included 42 and 130 training hours respectively and were part of the Kuwait Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development funded project, unemployed graduates' rehabilitation. The legal translation workshop aimed at training participant to deal with legal sciences and their effect on translation. The workshop also aimed at developing the trainees’ skills in interpreting and translating legal contracts and adopting the analytical method in legal translation. |
