During five minute breaks from work, the idea of picking up a book and reading up on legal drafting is a daunting one, but I've found that a good blog can provide just the right mix between education and relaxation to (occasionally) lure me away from mindless perusing of Yahoo News and sports webpages. I'm hoping we can get a running list of blogs going, as I'd like to find a few more good ones. I'm especially looking for a field-specific blogs to use as resources for translations, but non-translation blogs are welcome as well. On my end, I'd highly recommend that anyone working with legal translations visit Ken Adams drafting site: http://www.adamsdrafting.com/blog/ In terms of non-translation blogs, I'm a big fan of farwestchina.com . Anyone with an interest in law and China would also do well to check out Dan Harris's China Law Blog http://www.chinalawblog.com/ I'm sure most of you already know of these two excellent translation blogs: https://patenttranslator.wordpress.com/ http://thoughtsontranslation.com/ Anyone else know of any good ones?

Haha, that's exactly why I'm looking for a few suggestions--blogrolls take a long time to get through! I do appreciate the list though, and I'll come back and take a look through these periodically. I probably should have stated this more clearly in my original post, but I'd really love to find a couple more field-specific blogs in fields such as accounting, law and finance (such as the legal drafting blog I listed above). Translation blogs are nice, but they don't help very much with the actual nuts and bolts of translations. | | | Jeff Whittaker United States Local time: 08:46 Spanish to English + ...
Put the blogs you like into http://feedly.com/i/welcome I follow over 400 blogs and this site puts all new posts on one page in chronological order for you. That way, you don't have to check each individual blog to see if there has been a new post. Thanks Emma for the many new suggestions... I'll probably have 500 when I'm done.
