I usually visit one or two big shows in my field of specialisation (not medical but agriculture and environment).

I found it very useful to keep up to date with the technology, see real machines and equipment, ask questions to the experts, collect documentation (be ready to carry a heavy bag!) but so far I have not found any new clients there.
I also try to visit or meet one or two old clients, either exhibitors or visitors.

Sometimes I can see some brochures which were translated by me through an agency ... and I am very pleased

My advice : better to target shows opened to profesional only, or to go during the "special day for pros only" - usually at the very beginning. ▲ Collapse
