Bio
A veteran of the French army, after 6 years of duty, I decided to leave and work as a freelance in translation.
After graduating from college with a degree in electrical engineering and computing, I joined the army in maintenance, and worked for 5 years as a metrological technician. My language skills were also used during these 5 years to translate electronic and electric measurement devices datasheet and manuals, as well as doing liaison work with industrial partners like Fluke or Rhode&Schwarz.
I was sent to several countries like Lebanon, Mali, Niger and Chad and worked on my languages skills on my free time. While in foreign operations, I also worked as liaison NCO with our colleagues of US army and Royal Army, and with the Spanish army, about technical matters on metrology work.
The army gave me the opportunity to pass languages exams to be certified in both English and Spanish.
As I came back to civil life, I started working as a freelance translator. Moreover, my translation skills were used and got improved while serving in the army.
I've been then working for several companies, around topics like electronics, IT, video games, gambling, etc.
Looking forward to working with you soon.
