Italian term

(maglieria esterna) con separazione

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
Description contained in the introduction to a textile (weaving) company:

Tessitura conto terzi di maglieria esterna con separazione su macchine circolari.
...azienda leader nella tessitura di maglieria esterna con separazione per conto terzi.

Elsewhere the company is descibed as a manufacturer of seamless outer knitwear.

It's the 'con separazione' part that confuses me, however I found the following reference while surfing the web:

http://www.glenbraegolf.com/uk/technologies/tc_seamless.htm
Typically, a knitted garment consists of separate parts - the front and back body panels and the sleeves which are sewn together afterwards. In sharp contrast, Seamless Technology knitwear is produced in one entire piece, three-dimensionally, directly on the knitting machine.

Still not sure how to translate the term, however - any suggestions greatly appreciated!

TIA

my take on it.
Maglieria esterna also means that it is worn on the outside (like a pullover) as opposed to maglieria intima which is worn next to the skin.
(Please do keep in mind that conto terzi can also mean on behalf of a third parties, I don't know if there are any such implications in the rest of your text)
