Source text - Arabic إن الاعتمادات المستندية – التي تعتبر بمثابة تعهدات خطية من المصرف نيابة عن العميل تسمح للطرف الثالث بسحب الأموال وفق شروط وأحكام خاصة – مضمونة بالبضاعة التي تخصها وبالتالي فإنها تحمل مخاطر أقل. تمثل القبولات تعهدات المصرف لسداد الكمبيلات المسحوبة من قبل العملاء.
أما المتطلبات النقدية بموجب خطابات الضمان والاعتمادات المستندية فإنها تقل كثيرًا عن المبلغ الملتزم به لعدم توقع المصرف قيام الطرف الثالث بسحب الأموال بموجب الاتفاقية.
تمثل الالتزامات لمنح الائتمان الجزء غير المستخدم من الائتمان الممنوح على شكل استثمارات وضمانات واعتمادات مستندية. وفيما يتعلق بمخاطر الائتمان المتعلقة بالالتزامات لمنح الائتمان غير المستخدمة، فمن المحتمل أن يتعرض المصرف لخسارة بمبلغ يعادل الالتزامات غير المستخدمة. لكن يتوقع أن يكون مبلغ الخسارة الذي لا يمكن تقديره بشكل معقول أقل كثيرًا من إجمالي الالتزامات غير المستخدمة لأن معظم الالتزامات لمنح الائتمان تتطلب من العملاء الحفاظ على معايير ائتمان محددة. إن إجمالي الالتزامات القائمة لمنح الائتمان غير المستخدمة لا يمثل بالضرورة المتطلبات النقدية المستقبلية لأن العديد من هذه الالتزامات يتم انتهاء مدتها بدون تقديم التمويل المطلوب.
Translation - English The documentary letters of credit, which constitute a written obligation by the Bank on behalf of the client to allow funds withdrawal by a third party as per special terms and conditions, are guaranteed by its related goods, thus they bear less risks. Consents constitute the Bank’s obligation to pay the bills withdrawn by the clients.
Monetary requirements under letter of guarantee and documentary letters of credit are much less than the dictated amount, as the Bank does not expect a third party to withdraw funds under the agreement.
Granting of credits liabilities constitute the idle part of the credit granted in the form of investments, guarantees and documentary letters of credit. For credit risks related to the idle granting of credits liabilities, the Bank may incur a loss amounting to the idle liabilities. However, it is expected for the loss amount, which cannot be reasonably estimated, to be much less than the total idle liabilities, as most granting of credits liabilities require the clients to keep certain credit criteria. The current liabilities of idle credits do not necessary constitute the future monetary requirements; where many of these liabilities expire without providing the necessary funding.
