Bio

I was born and raised in Brazil, where I got a BA in Industrial Design and worked as a Graphic Designer before moving to Canada in 2010. Upon my arrival I swiftly secured a role as a localization QA tester in the gaming industry, which made me discover a passion for linguistics and paved the way for my career as a translator.

I now have over 12 years of experience as an in-house and freelance translator, and I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Translation into Portuguese from the University of Toronto. I'm also committed to continual growth through courses and workshops.

I specialize in game, software and website localization, but over the years I've had the chance to hone my skills in LQA, transcriptiontranscreationMTPE and translation in a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to) content for the tourism, fashion and fine art industries.

I am a full-time freelancer and I pride myself on being highly responsive and taking my deadlines very seriously. I'm familiar with multiple CAT tools and own a memoQ license.

You can see details about my career on LinkedIn, or get in touch if you'd like to request my CV.

Game localization & LQA portfolio: Translators and LQA testers are not always credited in video games. Please visit my profile on MobyGames for a non-exhaustive list of titles I have worked on (only those I've been officially credited for).
