Hi Judith,
I think that various manufacturers call this differently, however, as I translate since some 5 years instructions and leaflets for OneTouch and AccuCheck glucometers, I can say that these customers prefer such translation for what is called "confirmation window" in English. Please take a look at the leaflet for the test strips:
