загвоздка в том, что на Западе никто не поймет, что такое "синтапон". Практически все ссылки, в том числе очень немногочисленные из канады и Голландии принадлежат нашим соотечественникам. Поэтому - дучше объяснить (см. выше)

Sintapon
As seen from the (Russian) references below, Sintapon is a material. However, Sintapon is also a synonym for sodium lauryl sulfate, a wetting agent in the textile industry, detergent in tooth paste, and food additive. I doubt if the two meanings would get confused, but just to let you know

I could very well be wrong, but I think \"sintApon\" and \"sintEpon\" are two different materials. And Syntapon is also a synonym (Czech I believe) for sodium lauryl sulfate, so I wouldn\'t use Syn... in place of Sin.... IF the two are synonyms, either one would be fine.
