Italian term
azioni vincolate a garanzia
Italian to English
Bus/Financial
Investment / Securities
From a complaint alleging that one party did not sufficiently fund its guarantees:
Even if the raw meaning is "shares bound by a guarantee" I know there must be a more specific and clear securities term for what these are.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

shares pledged as collateral
Very common. The word "garanzia" in Italian includes actual security as in a mortgage and just a signature with no collateral to back it.

Note from asker:
I was thinking merely collateralized shares, but these adds the missing component. Thanks, Jim! |
