Rectification: I MUST feel it! More specific terms are nowhere to be seen... :o) It looks like I'll have to settle...and acknowledge that italians like high-sounding big words! :P

I don't feel it! I think I am looking for a more technical term. In italian we have a name for a swimming coach, which is "istruttore di nuoto"...the "acquamotricista" must be something more specific...I checked the links You shared - should I not find any better term, I will accept Yours, though. Thanks for Your aid!
