I really can't believe it is 'baked'

Could it be anodised?

15 mins

baked

similar to powdercoating, the paint is hardened (cured) in a large oven--not with flame, though :^)

baked enamel and stove enamelled are synonymous--the latter one is more common in UK.

some examples here

http://www.customhousenumbers.com/WJetEnamelFinishes.htm (baked enamel)

http://www.ronfordbaker.co.uk/tripods.html (stove enamelled)

Note, though that you can not use them interchangeably-- stove enamel(l)ed is a past participle and has more limited function.

though, (add comma--becomes more intelligible)
