Location: The heaps are located around the Brskovo OPM (coordinates: X: 387945 Y: 4756056). All heaps could not be completely documented due to its steepness and impermeability of the terrain.
Origin: Relates to needs to dispose of the waste rock from OPM.
Method of construction: Piling/end-dumping.
Dimensions: The whole area of OPM covers 98 000 m2, heaps cover 26 000 m2.
Composition: Tuffs, shales, sandstones, limestones, keratophyres, cherts, vein quartz.
Morphology, geohazards: Tops of the heaps are morphologically dissected. The maximum gradient of the slope is > 60°, average gradient is 40° – 60° (estimated).
Hydrology: On the upper plateau there is no accumulation of precipitation water. Rills are often on the slopes of heaps.
Biota: The surface of the heap is without soil cover. It is sparsely overgrown with birches. Vegetation is more common in places with less dynamic surface runoff.
Analyses:One composite sample was taken from the heap from the depth 0 – 0,2 m. For results see table 2.

: wrong scale and wrong stage of production- your refs are about heaps of raw material on a conveyer belt (about half-meter wide), the ST is about heaps of waste rock tens of metres high
