There is a difference between the equipment garbage disposal (this one http://reslife1.tamu.edu/ua/orientation/section1/06.asp) and the "Garbage Disposal" as a site where the garbage is collected and disposed.

From your sentence, even if not so much and I realized it as I have translated this equipment for new units (flats) advertised in Albania, I think you are talking of what technicians call:
- grisësi i mbeturinave
- kazani ose koshi grirës i mbeturinave/plerave/ushqimeve
