All of a sudden, while I was translating, these purple marks show up and and when I click on "Set/Close Next Open/Get" both the source text and the target text is there. How do I get rid of the source text and the purple marks?

Hi Marianne,
This is a Word setting, which has been discussed on numerous occasions in this forum - kindly use the forum search, looking for hidden text.

Note that it is recommended to have source and target visible during interactive translation, to avoid damaging tags.

Best regards,
Ralf
