I have recently signed up for to be a member and am still trying to figure out a lot of things.

Could anyone tell me what CV stands for?

I think it stands for "career venue".

It's "curriculum vitae" - aka resume. 履歴書です。

Generally speaking, British and other European countries use this term, and Americans use "resume."
