I have been doing manual translation for so long and I think its time to start using CAT.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good program for Mac specially for Arabic-English translations.

Also, is there a recommended site for looking up translations of Quoranic Verses that is easy to navigate and locate the verses by topic or so?

Thanks,
Reem

Hello,

From the following site you can download a wonderful software for Qoran including translation and much more:

As for the TM with Mac:

1- Wordfast

Hello,

From the following site you can download a wonderful software for Qoran including translation and much more:

As for the TM with Mac:

1- Wordfast
(You can find many useful learning materials and courses about it also in Arabic)

2- OmegaT
(but first test it to see, whether it supports Arabic)

3- With OpenOffice, there is "Anaphraseus", which is and open source

Please note, that using PC instead of Mac gives you more options, as most of the CAT tools are designed for PC.

Best regards

Actually, it is not time yet. Ten years from now, it may be time to start using CAT for some extremely limited purposes for English to Arabic translation. For Arabic to English translation, it will probably take much longer.

Yes. Here is one that I use:
