I am a translator/editor/proofreader based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

So why this industry?

It's the opposite of education, as the end in itself. Translation is the means. For me, translation has always been of pedagogical interest and a means of fulfillment to my love of wisdom. It is a calling that get me excited to start my day because not only I get to read through papers and making mental notes that keep enriching my intellectual insights, but it also indulges my wonder on human condition—that we are not “there” yet, to the ultimate truth.

I am eclectic and pragmatic person. That means I am easy to negotiate with and willing to compromise as well. Most of the work I did concerned with social sciences, although I have some experience working with fields such as biology, pharmacy, and medicine. I can also work with either short or lengthy texts.
