Introduction
Advertising displays that call out to you on a first-name basis. Services that let you shop for pizza, music, books, and movies—anywhere, anytime. Stores where the costs of goods is automatically deducted from your bank account — without you ever writing a check, doling out cash, swiping a card, or standing in line. And commercials broadcast so only you can hear them—seemingly from
inside your own head.

MARKETING’S WIRELESS FUTURE IS HERE .
READY TO MAKE THE MOST OF IT ?

It turns out that the Internet was just a warm-up act. A decade ago, the Internet hype machine pitched the World Wide Web as a marketer’s dream come true—an interactive, one-to-one utopia, linking shoppers and their quarry in the electronically enabled Elysium Fields of 24-7 commerce. Of course, Google, Amazon, and eBay notwithstanding, banner ads, online ‘‘communities of interest,’’ and click-and-mortar ‘‘e-tailing’’ have yet to truly deliver the eyeballs, interest, or sales they promised - tethered as they’ve been to a cumbersome, confounding device called the desktop PC. Now, all that’s changing. A new generation of wireless Internet technology is finally liberating the Net from its deskbound subjugation. Thanks to new wireless devices and high-speed mobile networks, the Information Superhighway and its advertising ‘‘billboards,’’ applications, and services are finally hitting the road with you.
Along the way they're delivering on two tenets, heretofore unfulfilled, that are central to the internet's promise. The first: anywhere. The second: anytime.
Today, there are over 1.7 billion Internet-enabled cell phones worldwide, allowing users to browse the Web, take pictures, send email, watch TV, play games, and yes, even talk. By 2007, there will be a billion more - one for every three people on the planet - each sporting computing power that rivals that of NASA's original Apollo space program.

Pendahuluan

Ternyata internet hanyalah sebuah tindakan pemanasan.

Menurut Presiden Director SKF Indonesia Ilpo Saarisivu, pihaknya memang tengah bersiap mengincar pasar ASEAN.

V. CONCLUSION AND ANALYSIS

CONCLUSION
SKF was established on February 16, in 1907. That is no coincidence, Swedish engineer Sven Wingquist, inventor of the self-aligning ball bearing and founder of SKF realized that his invention would provide solutions to problems the world over.
Thanks to his expertise in making component with high acuracy tolerance, bearing manufacturer from Sweden now is entrusted to handle the production of automatic throttle control unit. Following the invention of that component, this company continues to progress from merely supplying Sweden local needs to different parts of the world. In Indonesia itself, SKF has been around since 1919. Nowadays, 120 factories have been established in 24 countries employing around 40 thousands employees. This statement was addressed by SKF CEO Tom Johnstone as stated by Harian Media Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Suara Pembaruan sets forth explanation from Tom Johnstone that energy efficiency is achieved not only by maximazing the function of fuel consumption, as presented by SKF. From the trial result, the manufacturer of this vehicle’s mechanical component records data utilization of bearing manufactured by SKF is able to improve the energy efficiency of vehicle up to 13%. Introducing bearing product named Tapered Roller Bearing (TRB) which has been tested on vehicle shaft. Overall efficiency to be achieved in utilizing TRB in industry sector will be up to 30%. Such performance does not simply count on how to use the component but also concerns with the life span. SKF itself records efficiency from a number of utilizations on several machine applications. As on gear box which can save energy equivalent to 2.600 kWh per year. Meanwhile TRB application on this turbine application provides efficiency up to 20.000 kWh per year.
In Indonesia SKF’s bearing products have been used by motorbike manufacturers such as Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Piagio. Furthermore SKF also supplies automotive needs for Isuzu and Mercedes Benz. As stated by Tom Johnstone, SKF views Indonesia as their production base. Therefore SKF has invested more and more to this factory to improve its production capacity up to 80 million unit per year. There are three brands of SKF bearing available in Indonesia, they are still mostly used by two-wheel market. SKF admits this issue is related to the increasing automotive market in Indonesia, especially two-wheel users in Indonesia. SKF has three products with SKF Genio, Enduro and FitGo brands. Regarding competition with China and Japan products, SKF remains optimistic that they still have control on bearing markets worldwide. This statement is set forth by Harian Seputar Indonesia. Tabloid Otomotif explains that big potential in ASEAN market has made PT SKF hurries into increasing the production capacity of its factory in Indonesia. According to President Director of SKF Indonesia, Ilpo Saarisivu, they are preparing to target ASEAN market. SKF’s current production capacity reaches 50 million unit. SKF Indonesia is a joint venture between SKF Sweden (84%) and PT Astra International Tbk (14%), and individuals. In their local markets they supply bearing need for motorbike and car manufacturers. One of them is Daihatsu.
Radio Smart FM stated that SKF, a company originated in Sweden, will continually expand its production in Indonesia. Currently SKF gains control over 35% of bearing market share in Indonesia. Dewi Dwiyana, Marketing Communication of SKF Indonesia mentions that SKF currently gains control over 35% of bearing market share for automotive, engineering, heavy equipments even land, sea and air transportation companies in Indonesia. In her opinion, this achievement is pretty good in the middle of strict competition especially with Japan, China, Germany, and US brands. In order to increase the production capacity, SKF has added new investment in December 2006 onto one of its factories located in Cakung, East Jakarta thus its production capability may incline up to 80 million unit per year.

Analysis
Media is very enthusiastic in obtaining news covering 100 years of SKF. The bearing term has been something unique and becomes a personal interest for media to find out more what bearing actually is.
The development of industry and SKF’s achievement in automotive industry has also been media’s enthusiasm to find out broader information concerning SKF existence. Continuity of news release should be maintained and media discussion activity as well as such press conference are very effective to achieve directed publication.
