Always commited to the work I am involved with, paying extra attention to detail and with the interest of always deliver the best results within my reach.
My path with languages started when I was a little girl, beginning with my English studies when I was 8 years old in order to finish with an Education Degree in English at IFDC (a teachers training institute in my province San Luis in Argentina). On the other side, I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, obtained at the Universidad Católica de Cuyo which allows me to bring more modern and technological tools to my practise. Currently I am constantly expanding my knowledge through teaching and working on translations as a freelance translator.
On a completely different track, I began my journey with Japanese a number of years ago by completing courses of the language itself and also more specific ones related to translation at Sakaguchi School "自然な日本語 - Natural Japanese" seated in Sendai, Japan. By my professors’ recommendation I was able to obtain my first job as a translator (Japanese > English) in which I subtitle videos aimed to teach Japanese to Indian students through a company called Naitei Bridge 内定ブリッジ.
My areas of expertise are audiovisual translation (subtitling) but I am interested in working in the literary world (videogame localization, webcomics or manga translations, etc.). At the same time I have years of studies in the fields of education, design, literature and arts but I have the motivation to always expand my vocabulary in different fields. |
