Bio

As a native Ukrainian, I grew up speaking Ukrainian and Russian. I started studying English 27 years ago and hold a Master's degree in English Translation and Interpreting and English Education with distinction from Zaporizhzhia Classic University. Right after college, I continued as an intern at the "Intourist Hotel" in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. I then had my first career at "Alfa Stroy Baking Company" as a translator and interpreter. Besides that, I taught English at high school #19 in Zaporizhzia and was a private tutor of English.

I moved to the United States 14 years ago to continue my studies in English. So, with the credentials of both a 14-year resident of the US and a native and active Russian and Ukrainian speaker, my cultural relevance applies to both sides of the Atlantic.

I have been working as a translator in the US for ten years and have extensive experience translating, proofreading, and interpreting. I am also experienced in English/Ukrainian/Russian private tutoring and working as a freelance translator.

As a licensed Real Estate agent, I am well familiar and comfortable with real estate translation. With 14 years of sales experience, I specialize in marketing, retail, hospitality, social media, education, and tourism. I provide pro-bono translations for the "Translators without Borders" global volunteer community and "TED Translators" program.

I do not accept medical, engineering, or technical translations as I can not guarantee the quality.
