XXX values its customers and knows that they care about how their personal data is used and shared. XXX appreciates the trust its customers place in it, and ensures that all personal data is treated appropriately. This notice describes the privacy policy of XXX for customers residing in Korea.
1.PrivacyPolicy
YYYY Korea Limited, XXX (“the Company”) shall obtain personal information from each customer in accordance with the Korean Act on the Promotion of Use of Information and Communication Networks and the Protection of Information and use the best endeavors to protect personal information by managing it in an appropriate and strict manner.
2.UseofCustomerInformation
(1) The Company may ask customers visiting XXX boutiques and the XXX website to voluntarily provide personal information. The personal information provided, the records of the customer’s future visits, orders, purchases and repair orders, and any subsequent information provided by the customer either in addition to, or amending the existing registered personal information, will be hereinafter called the “Customer Information”.
(2) The Company will use the Customer Information for:
- Product and repair order fulfillment, and after service
- Direct mail for announcing new products and events
- Service improvement study
- Internal market research
3.JointUseofCustomerInformation
(1) The Company will use the Customer Information provided by customers jointly among XXX, Branch of YYYY Intl. SA and XXX’s related group companies.
(2) Any joint use of the Customer Information stipulated in 3(1) will be conducted within the scope of the purposes of use specified in 2(2). The Company will assume full responsibility for all requests for disclosure, amendment, deletion, etc. of the Customer Information to be jointly used. Customers should contact the customer service center shown in 6 to request disclosure, amendment or deletion of their Customer Information.
4.ProvisionofCustomerInformationtoThirdParty
Other than as specified in 5(2), or unless otherwise provided by law, the Company will not disclose or provide the Customer Information to any third party without obtaining the relevant customer’s approval.
5.ManagementofCustomerInformation
(1) The Customer Information provided will be appropriately kept and managed in accordance with the law of Korea.
(2) The Company may sometimes employ an external service provider to perform the processing or management of the Customer Information. In that case, the Company will take an appropriate partner at its responsibility and perform necessary and appropriate supervision over such service provider.
6.PeriodofRetentionandUseofCustomerInformation
Subject to paragraph 7(2) below, Piaget will retain and use the Customer Information until the Customer requests that Piaget deletes the Customer Information.
7.CustomerInformationDisclosure,AmendmentorDeletion
(1) With respect to the disclosure of, amendment to or deletion of the contents of the Customer Information, please refer to the following customer information management officer:

(2) In the case where a customer who has voluntarily submitted Customer Information to the Company does not interact or communicate with the Company for an extended period of time, the Company may delete Customer Information submitted by that customer and registered in the Company’s system. If the customer subsequently requests the Company for disclosure, amendment, deletion, etc. of their Customer Information after it has been destroyed, the Company will inform them of such fact.

XXX는 고객들을 소중하게 여기고 있으며 또한 고객들이 그들 개인 자료를 어떻게 사용하고 공유하는 지에 관심을 가지고 있다는 사실을 인지하고 있다. XXX는 고객들이 쌓은 신뢰를 높이 평가하고 또한 그들 개개인의 자료를 모두 적절하게 다루도록 보장한다. 본 통지문은 한국에서 거주하고 있는 고객들을 상대로 피아제의 개인 정보 보호 정책을 설명한다.
1. 개인 정보 보호 정책
YYYY 코리아 법인체인 XXX(이하, “당사”)는 ‘정보 통신 네트워크 이용 촉진 및 정보 보호’에 관한 한국 법에 따라 각 고객을 통해 개별 정보를 수집하고 또 그것을 적절하고 엄격한 방식으로 관리함으로써 개인정보를 보하는데 최선을 다한다.
2. 고객 정보의 이용
(1) 당사는 XXX 부티크와 XXX 웹사이트를 방문하는 고객들에게 자발적으로 개인 정보를 제공하도록 요청할 수 있다. 제공된 개인 정보, 고객의 미래 방문, 주문, 구입 및 수리 주문에 대한 기록, 그리고 기존의 등록된 개인 정보의 수정 등 고객이 제공한 후속적인 정보 모두를 이하 “고객 정보”라 일컫는다.
(2) 당사는 다음과 같은 목적으로 고객 정보를 사용한다.
- 제품 및 수리 주문의 이행 그리고 애프터서비스
- 신제품과 행사를 알리기 위한 광고인쇄물 발송
- 서비스 개선을 위한 연구
- 내부 시장조사
3. 고객 정보의 공동 이용
(1) 당사는 고객이 제공한 고객 정보를 XXX, YYYY 인터내셔널 SA 지점, 그리고 XXX와 관련된 그룹 회사들과 공동으로 이용한다.
(2) 문단 3(1)에 명시된 고객 정보의 공동 이용은 문단 2(2)에서 명시된 이용 목적 범위 이내에서 이뤄진다. 당사는 공동으로 이용되는 고객 정보의 공개, 수정, 삭제 등과 관련한 모든 요청에 대해서 전적으로 책임을 진다. 고객들은 고객 정보의 공개, 수정 또는 삭제를 요청하기 위해서는 조항 6에서 제시된 고객 서비스 센터에 연락해야 한다.
4. 제 3자에 고객 정보의 제공
문단 5(2)에서 명시되어 있지 않는 한 또는 법으로 달리 규정되어 있지 않는 한, 당사는 해당 고객의 승인 없이 제 3자에게 고객 정보를 공개하거나 제공하지 않는다.
5. 고객 정보의 관리
(1) 제공된 고객 정보는 한국 법에 의거하여 적절하게 보존하고 관리된다.
(2) 당사는 때에 따라 고객 정보를 가공하거나 관리하기 위해 외부 서비스 공급자를 고용할 수도 있다. 이러한 경우에 당사는 책임을 맡을 수 있는 적절한 직원을 지정하고 해당 서비스 공급자에 대해 필요하고 적절한 감독을 실행한다.
6. 고객 정보의 보유 및 이용 기간
아래의 문단 7(2)에 따라 당사는 고객이 고객 정보를 삭제하라고 요청할 때까지 고객 정보를 보유하고 이용한다.
7. 고객 정보의 공개, 수정 또는 삭제
(1) 고객 정보 내용의 공개, 수정 또는 삭제에 관련하여선 아래의 고객 정보 관리 책임자에 문의한다.

(2) 자발적으로 고객 정보를 당사에 제출한 고객이 시간 연장과 관련하여 당사와 연락을 취하지 않는 경우에, 당사는 해당 고객이 제공하여 당사 시스템에 등록된 고객 정보를 삭제할 수 있다. 그 이후에, 고객 정보를 파기한 이후 고객이 고객 정보의 공개, 수정, 삭제 등을 당사에게 요청할 경우, 당사는 그러한 사실을 고객들에게 통지한다.
