So did I! But I hadn't given them much time lately. This is great for a Friday night, just before turning off the computer.

As I am still growing up (that's a life's constant, isnt' it?) I put a Beatles record on at least once a week to clean up my ears from modern rubbish

Nice one Claudia!

A masterpiece May 9, 2009

Well, I guess I'll tell you the truth, but please don't kill me

I'm not a huge Beatles fan.. or, at least, I'm not really into their first recordings BUT I also think that in their latter production they really gave "something more" to their music turning into Giants.

"Let it be" might not be their best album ever - this is not the issue and I don't want to put up a fight...

"Let it be" might not be their best album ever - this is not the issue and I don't want to put up a fight - but it's a true masterpiece to me, its completeness both in music and lyrics is amazing.

Here's the link to one of my favorites, enjoy it

Me too May 10, 2009

I grew up listening to The Beatles too. When I was learning English, I learned so many phrasal verbs and idioms through their songs. My first guitar lessons were based on The Beatles songs.

My favorite: George Harrisson and
