Italian term

pannello con bugne

Italian to English Other Construction / Civil Engineering
I'm translating the text for a catalogue of items used to construct under floor radiant panel heating installations. One of these is: "pannello isolante **stampato con bugne in rilievo** atte ad una posa delle tubazioni" con passo 7.5 cm. As I understand it the "bugne in rilievo" act as a template for laying the piping, but I'm not sure of the best way to translate it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Sarah.

deep profiled panel with projecting bosses, forse?
Note from asker:
That's a great help, thanks! I've got a much better idea of what they're talking about now. But I get stuck when a few lines down I come across: "Superficie sagomata a bugne in rilievo con passo 5 cm". If I use "profiled panel", how can I translate the "bugne in rilievo" here :-( ?
