It seems appropriate in the light of the description of how the garages are positioned.

garage lineup / queue

I think that this is suggesting a 6m garage to cover for a long queue or line-up of cars that need housing.

Possibly "pile up", but this may sound a bit drastic as it often refers to major car crashes.
