Medical (general)
Hi colleagues,
I have translated thousands and thousands of words from the medical field but have never come across this word. Even
Google has no hits. It might be a typo but really not sure.
This word appeared in a list of neurological findings:
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Blicksakkaden
Selected
saccades
There was a typo, a k was missing. It should be Blicksakkaden. But honestly, Sakkaden is used much more often than Blicksakkaden.

Introduction
Eye movements can be described by using a number of parameters. These are relatively easy to calculate or measure from eye position data collected using one of the methods described elsewhere. This parameter approach can be applied to any eye movement, but only two will be dealt with here : saccades and smooth pursuit.
Saccade Parameters
Amplitude - the size of the saccade, usually measured in degrees or mins. of arc. The amplitude determines the saccade accuracy. This is sometimes denoted using "gain". The gain is the ratio of the actual saccade amplitude divided by the desired saccade amplitude (usually determined by the size of a target step). Gains of <1 indicate the saccade was too small or hypometric; gains of >1 indicate the saccade was too large or hypermetric. A number of congenital conditions, diseases lesions or drugs cause saccade dysmetria (saccades of the wrong size) to a lesser or greater extent.
