Deutsch term

auslaufend

Deutsch > Englisch Wirtschaft/Finanzwesen Finanzen (allgemein) Monatsregelung
The text I'm translating is for an IT company that produces software for banks, helping them to process foreign trade documents. This specific sentence refers to changes in the program that need to carried out to accommodate Slovenia joining the eurozone. I just can't get my head around 'auslaufend'.

In den Stammdaten zur Währung SIT muss als gültig-bis-Datum der 31.12.2006 eingetragen werden, die Kursnotierung auf "3" auslaufend und die Toleranz auf 0,0 % gesetzt werden.

So far I've got: In the static data relating to the SIT, '31 December 2006' has to be entered as the 'Valid until ...' date, with the quoted price set to '3' and the tolerance to 0.0%.

Grateful for any ideas!

Discussion

I agree with Harry about Stammdaten. Your reference has to do with measurement data or control algorithms. This is database. AND, you ARE changing the data so it CAN'T be static! Master data or some such for a database.

This might be the text for setting 3 - indicating that the notation will be/has been discontinued

And the guy who translated Stammdaten as "static data" needs a slap
Note from asker:
Thanks, HarryH. I don't mind doing the slapping, but unfortunately the guy is not wrong. Take a look at http://web.gat.com/pcs/user/node15.html
Harry, I think you're a genius. Of course it is. Cheers.

I think it may mean the value should be limited to 3

and I'd use _master_ data
Note from asker:
Thanks, Teresa, I'd much prefer master data too. Unfortunately, it's the client's choice and written probably 10,000 times in their programs and documentation.
