offgas combustion plant
In sewage plants, breweries, and other processes that produce bad-smelling offgas (Abluft) the waste gas can be incinerated in special combustion chambers to destroy the source of the smell.
Especially in sewage plants, the offgas can contain methane, so it is a valuable soource of heat.
Plenty of refs for offgas & sewage.
