If you want to give your computer a free comprehensive check-up (virus, performance, threats, etc.), this new online service from Microsoft might interest you.

Attention: for once in a while, make sure you use Internet Explorer (nothing much seems to happen in Firefox - isn't that strange!).

You'll probably make your computer worse just by loading up Internet Explorer
I hate the way Microsoft make their sites run only with IE. It seems they are unwilling to admit there is a far superior browser out there. They should just admit it, and start trying to make their own browser better.
But apparently the new IE is revolutionary: it has tabbed-browsing and a built-in RSS feed! Only several years behind other browsers then.
Come on Microsoft. You've got enough cash, so come up with something decent with some novel ideas!

Timothy,
As a matter of fact, any IE clone will work.
