The European Localisation Exchange Center, ELECT, a European Union funded
project, created under the auspices of the EU’s eContent programme, is holding a series of executive briefings and free foundation courses in Web Localisation in September. One of these events will be held at Universidad Europea de Madrid (Villaviciosa de Odón, Madrid) on September 15 & 16 2003.

project, created under the auspices of the EU’s eContent programme, is holding a series of executive briefings and free foundation courses in Web Localisation in September. One of these events will be held at Universidad Europea de Madrid (Villaviciosa de Odón, Madrid) on September 15 & 16 2003.
These free events are targeted at managers/executives of companies with an
interest in marketing their products or services to the global community, and professionals that would be interested in learning more about the localization process. These are introductory courses only, designed for individuals with little or no knowledge of Internationalisation and Localisation processes. The will be useful for people looking to gain an insight into what constitutes internationalization and localization but will not be useful to people already established in the industry, unless they wish to send new staff for training purposes.
