I don't use any software of tools listed in the poll. In some cases (depending on the source text) I just use Trados and I find it very very useful.

Most of us are translators, not DTP artists.
I chose voice recognition to avoid choosing Other.

I agree with others, software mentioned in the poll is mainly DTP and doesn't have much to do with the translation.

I can't agree more.
None of my clients has ever approached me with a request for DTP services.
CAT tools are definitely my No. 1!

Hi, I agree with all of you, we are translators and not DPT artists, however, if find these tools quite useful when I must translate Websites!
Especially because they are user friendly and they save me a lot of time and the annoyance of having to edit a lot of HTML codes with the risk of changing something and ruin the whole file.

In four years' busy freelancing I have never been asked to use these or any other DTP programme. Am I missing something?
Voice recognition might come in useful when the RSI kicks in!
