Despite some of them can speak English and Spanish, they don't have a clue about what Proz is!

There are two translators in my extended family but they do not use Proz anymore since they believe finding work on Proz in my language pair is nearly impossible due to how fierce the competition is, which I do agree with to some extent but I still haven't given up.

I have a cousin over here - we actually did the same translation education (though not in the same years). I don't see what could be so shocking about this question or the answers; I have seen worse

My wife and two of my children have to work with texts in foreign language, although they are not translators. I indicate ProZ to everyone I know, and I know these three have the site among their favorites in Chrome.
