I have always had a profound curiosity about words. Being an avid reader even in my youth encouraged me to seek out a wide variety of words to use to express myself. However, the English language is not my only passion. I fell in love with the way in which Spanish describes human existence as well. Due to this I pursued a degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Colorado, graduating first in my class in 2014. I also have a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Pennsylvania State University. Currently, I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Living in Buenos Aires has allowed me to perfect my conversational Spanish as well as dominate the modality of the language. I may have learned the structure of Spanish in University however South America has taught me to truly express myself in the language. In my opinion this last aspect is the most important. As anyone familiar with languages knows, each language conveys thoughts, ideas, and information differently. Thus, translation is not merely copying words from one language to another. Translation is an art. It is the expression ideas from one language to another while staying true to the author and the stylistic preferences of the language. A good translation does not look like a translation. Through the creativity that I posses with words and my deep knowledge of both English and Spanish I am able to provide high quality translations.
