I am Amina Saif, a fully-qualified interpreter and translator with over 22 years of experience in the industry. I am writing to express my interest in the position of Interpreter/Translator at your organization.

As a KUDO Certified Interpreter, I have extensive experience in on-site and online international conferences, expert seminars, trainings, business meetings, and cultural events. My expertise includes simultaneous interpreting, consecutive interpreting, document translation, and voiceovers in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi. Through my company, AS Translations, I am committed to delivering best-in-class interpretation and translation services to organizations such as Big Work UK, IOL, and Language Line Services. I have experience interpreting different modes of speech, including face-to-face, telephone, video link, and voiceover, and I am well-versed in advanced platforms like Interactio, Zoom, Interprefy, Rafiky, Kudo, Voice Boxer, QuaQua, and Cisco Webex.

With a wealth of experience in my field, I have provided simultaneous interpretation services for a number of high-profile events, such as the Prince’s Trust Awards in London, the Boehringer Ingelheim Global Excellence Awards in Frankfurt, and events for Google and DHL in Germany. Additionally, I have interpreted for several prominent individuals, including the Prime Ministers of the G7 summit and Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand.

Alongside my work as a founder, I have also served as a Justice of the Peace in Hertfordshire for over a decade, where I have presided in three Magistrates Courts. Being from South Asia, this is a rare honour for any woman. In this role, I have overseen misdemeanour and petty offence cases, organized initial appearance proceedings and detention hearings and issued search and arrest warrants, summonses, and sentences.
